REPAIR
Despite your best efforts, at some point your rug may get damaged. Oriental rugs are generally worth repairing because of their value, but repairs should be performed by a specialist with background and experience in the art. At our service department, we have a master weaver on staff to perform those repairs. In most cases, expert reweaving with careful matching of color and texture can make the damage disappear. We use the same quality materials and hand techniques that were used originally. Minor repairs are often surprisingly inexpensive. However, because the cost of repair depends not only on the extent and nature of the damage, but also on other factors like the age or general condition of the rug, we need to review the damage in order to provide an accurate estimate.
